Kepemimpinan strategis Community Lab BOD-2

In order to internalize the company’s values (Amanah, Harmonious, Collaborative) and build innovative problem-solving skills through leadership training, Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) organized Community Lab BOD-2. The program includes intensive design thinking-based training designed to deliver sustainable social projects in local communities.

With a program journey that includes workshops, online mentoring, and live-in sessions in Batulayang Village, Bogor, participants are invited to apply theory into real actions that have a direct impact on the community.

Social Transformation through Program Stages

The program began with a Design Thinking Workshop on December 5, 2024 at the Kempinski Hotel, Jakarta, hosted by Dr. Irma Himmatul A., M.Psi, Psychologist. This session used experiential learning method to guide participants to practice each stage of design thinking. Furthermore, participants followed online mentoring to refine their project design through discussions with village stakeholders, 6-11/12.

The program culminated in a live-in session in Batulayang Village, 12-14/12. For three days, participants were invited to practice leadership through the implementation of their social projects with the local community. This included discussion, implementation, and reflection, guided by Sahala Harahap. The sessions helped participants understand the social impact of their efforts.

Social Projects with Direct Impact

Through this program, four social projects were successfully launched by the BOD-2, including:

  1. Media Promotion Tools for Bukit Caimandala Camp
This project increased the number of visitors by developing digital marketing strategies, such as posters, Instagram reels, and banners.
  2. Business Development for Bank Sampah Katumbiri (BSK)
With maggot cultivation training and connection to Biomagg partners, this project supports organic waste management and local economic growth.
  3. Batulayang Village Inorganic Waste Management
The project provided a plastic shredder to improve waste management efficiency and economic value.
  4. Batulayang BUMDES Distilled Water Business Marketing Campaign
The project expanded the distribution of distilled water products through promotional media and partnerships with local shops.

Collaboration for Change

Each group of participants works closely with local stakeholders to ensure their projects are relevant and impactful. The program demonstrates how cross-sector collaboration can create sustainable, innovative solutions, while strengthening participants’ communication and leadership skills.
