Ministry of Finance Holds Culture Festival to Strengthen Organizational Values and Collaboration

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkeu) organized a Culture Festival in Jakarta, an initiative of the Central Transformation Office (CTO) Division to strengthen the values of the BerAKHLAK work culture and encourage cross-unit collaboration (9/12). The event provided a platform for top Transformation Ambassadors and Change Champions to celebrate their achievements and take part in various training sessions and interactive activities.

Define Transformation with Theory U

With the theme “Culture Compass: Navigating Change with Theory U Approach”, the festival provided a holistic approach to understanding and addressing organizational culture challenges. One of the sessions reviewed “Leading from Emerging Future” delivered by Ivan Ahda, CEO of Maxima Impact Consulting. Using the Theory U framework, participants were invited to explore the root of the problem and develop innovative solutions through cross-functional collaboration.

In his presentation, Ivan will emphasize the importance of a reflective and collaborative mindset in leading change, and share practical strategies for implementing the Theory U approach in an organizational context.

“More than just theory, this approach will help participants to become effective leaders through self-transformation by looking at phenomena comprehensively, from effective ways of exploring problems to making decisions as a leader,” he said.

Starting Transformation from Reflection

The next session was attended by Sahala Harahap who invited participants to reflect through “Driving Change Through Systemic Thinking” and meditation. He emphasized that to start the transformation, it is necessary to start from increasing the capacity of thinking through systemic thinking.

The Culture Festival is here to bridge and strengthen an adaptive and innovative work culture amidst the dynamics of global change. By emphasizing the values of collaboration and transformative leadership, this event is expected to be a catalyst for positive change and organizational sustainability.
